Beverly M. Hepp


BEVERLY M. HEPP, 90, of Jackson passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2010 at the Jackson Good Samaritan Center.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 11 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Jackson with Father Larry Brixius officiating.  Burial will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery in Jackson.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM with a Rosary at 6:30 PM at the Church and on Wednesday – one hour prior to the service at the Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Church of the Good Shepherd or your favorite charity in Beverly’s name.

BEVERLY MARIE HEPP was born on April 24, 1920 in Jackson, Minnesota, the daughter of Joseph Emil and Mary Libia (Pribyl) Betlach.  She graduated from Jackson High School.  On July 3, 1941, she was united in marriage to Thomas Edward Hepp at St. Wenceslaus.  She had worked for J & R Hakes until her first son was born.  Then she stayed at home and raised the family.  Thomas passed away on May 22, 2001.  On October 15, 2003, she became a resident of the Jackson Good Samaritan Center.  She passed away there on Saturday, December 25, 2010 at the age of 90 years, 8 months and 1 day. 

Beverly was a faithful member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, where she had belonged to the circles.  She enjoyed knitting and reading.  She was a wonderful cook and baker.  She also enjoyed playing cards.

Beverly is survived by her 4 sons and a daughter, Jim (Jane) Hepp of North St Paul, Minnesota, Judy Hepp of Eagan, Minnesota, John Hepp of Jackson, Minnesota, David Hepp of Omaha, Nebraska, and Michael Hepp of Rochester, Minnesota; 9 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and 2 sisters, Marcella Spaeth and Catherine Ann Samuelson.
